POST 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

The truth is, I haven't thought so much about continuing my studies after finishing my career, because I have been studying for the most part of my life now, I haven't stopped since school, I didn't take a year off and I entered directly to the uni.

I like to study, but I think I would rather get the degree first and live some time in the real world, to travel, to get to know how does life works and after a couple years continue to educate myself on something that gathers my attention.

Nevertheless, if I had to choose something, I think it would be related to brand identity and marketing. I am very passionate about creating a brand from scratch and implant it in the market. I think it's incredible that people can see a product and immediately associate it with a particular brand.

In fact, one of the things I dream about doing is my own brand that promotes sustainable and responsible consumption.

For this reason, I would like to study composition, color, typography, marketing, target audiences, etc... And even though I believe that here in Chile I can find something like that, I would love to live in another country at some point in my life, even for a while, and study there. One of the countries that most catches my attention is España because I like its people, its beautiful cities and it has a lot of areas in which I can develop.

To be honest I would definitely choose a course that is "face-to-face" in which I can debate with other designers, exchange knowledge, and have fun.

POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

I'm playing with the idea of having my own company because I aspire to have a salary that allows me to live comfortably and a flexible schedule, I imagine myself with some friends starting a business, maybe creating and selling sustainable products, offering design services, or creating content that is useful to people in its everyday life. I don't think I would like to work for a strange unless I see good values in him or her.

I love to travel, but I'm not one of those people who needs it to be happy, I enjoy my own space and I wouldn't mind working indoors as long as it doesn't consume all of my time.

Nowadays I'm studying design and I want to major in "Visuality and Media" because the type of thinking a visual designer has it's very centered on people, it needs to be very empathetic, and I think that that quality is one of the most useful ones to help the world.

And finally, I think that one of the most important things that I want to have in the future it's time. I would not stand to live one day after another working 24 hours a day, I want to be a person of integrity, with hobbies and free time to dedicate to my friends and my home. I think that it's very important to remember that we are not our job or our major, but what we do without the necessity of being paid for.

(To be honest, I don't know how I would look my future job,
so here I leave you a cat tasting ice cream)

Post 4: WILD ANIMALS AND PETS

When I was just a little girl, we adopted a little kitten that was in the street and we named it Tomy. His fur was grey and his paws looked like white socks. I remember that I loved him a lot, every time I left home to go somewhere, he waited for me in the same place.

Now I have a ten years old dachshund and he is the light of my eyes. His name is Rocky and he is a very funny dog, my family and I call him a "little clown" because he always is doing funny things, sleeping in weird positions, and putting cute faces when we are eating at tea time, with his beautiful ears and his lovely eyes.

One day, as I walked my dog, I saw a man in the distance that also was walking his dog, but something was odd, as I get closer, I realized that It was kind of a cat? maybe? No! it was a ferret! I never had seen someone walking a ferret, and it had his lash and everything.

I would love to say that I'm an animal lover, but I'm not vegetarian, so I think it wouldn't be fair to call me like that :(
